This May, we’re featuring a smoky classic inspired by the “beer and a shot” ritual: The Peat Monster Boilermaker. Using Compass Box’s Peat Monster, this cocktail brings together a bold whisky and a crisp lager for a no-fuss serve with big flavor.

What You’ll Need

25ml Compass Box Peat Monster
330ml chilled craft lager or pale ale
Frozen beer and shot glasses

How to Serve

Chill both glasses for at least 30 minutes.
Pour 25ml of Peat Monster into the frozen shot glass.
Fill your beer glass with the cold beer.

Enjoy the whisky and beer side by side, or drop the shot into the glass for a true boilermaker blast.
