Bars in Bangkok rise higher in Asia’s 50 best 2025

Once again, bars in Bangkok are capturing global attention as the Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025 list was revealed. This year, Thailand takes a powerful step forward in the cocktail world, with seven Thai venues securing spots in the top 50, showcasing the country’s ever-growing influence on the region’s drinking culture. These rankings confirm that the nightlife in Thailand is setting a high standard for the rest of Asia to follow.

Thai bars climbing the Asia’s 50 Best list

The top of the list is dominated by regional icons like Bar Leone at No. 1, Zest at No. 2, and Jigger & Pony at No. 3. But the real celebration belongs to Thailand’s bar scene. BAR US BKK made a dramatic leap, rising from No. 21 in 2024 to No. 4 in 2025, earning the title of Best Bar in Thailand. This comes just months after BAR US hosted the former No.1 of the World's 50 Best bars, Handshake Speakeasy, in a groundbreaking collaboration covered on our Speak Easy BKK blog.

• Vesper (No. 29) – Honored with the Rémy Martin Legend of the List Award for consistent performance and staying power.

These recognitions highlight how design, vision, and long-term consistency contribute to the identity of Thailand’s nightlife scene.

Thai bars in the 51–100 list

Before the final top 50 reveal, these additional Thai names were included in the extended rankings:
